Teach through making
Every class should include something learners can build, test, improve, or explain.
About The Talented Child MV
The Talented Child MV is a STEM learning initiative built on one belief: every person has infinite potential. Our job is to create the environment where that potential becomes visible through curiosity, discipline, and hands-on practice.
Our vision

Our mission
Every class should include something learners can build, test, improve, or explain.
Children and adults should feel safe starting from zero and confident asking basic questions.
Robotics, coding, spreadsheets, and electronics should connect to real problems and daily usefulness.
Values
We protect the question before rushing to the answer.
Trying, failing, and rebuilding are part of the learning process.
Skills should help learners do more in school, work, and life.
Potential expands when learners keep practicing with support.

Our founder
Sulthan Hameed
TalentedChild was founded by Sulthan Hameed, an experienced electrician, technical educator and lifelong hands-on learner. Growing up on a Maldivian island, Sulthan had limited access to tools, spare parts and structured technical education. He learned by opening machines, studying components and experimenting repeatedly.
That childhood curiosity became a career. Sulthan has led electrical projects across the Maldives, from resort developments to sustainable-energy installations, and lectures at Villa College Naifaru, connecting technical theory with practical experience. His journey — from experimenting with broken electronics to teaching the next generation — became the foundation for TalentedChild.
“Learning things means having the courage to go beyond failures. I learned how to fix things by breaking 17 Sony Walkmans.”Sulthan Hameed
